This was our fourth time in the Tivoli Marina Portimao and would gladly return anytime to this hotel as we liked the location. It is located a stone's throw from the broad beach of Praia da Rocha and the Arade, where you can watch cruise ships. The apartment that we had had a view of the marina and the Arade. Overall I would recommend the hotel despite some shortcomings (it also with 3 + stars rated) for vacationers, two weeks at the hotel, but the good transport links would like to use (bus stop in front of the door, 6,50 euros for rental cars including), to arrange a day trip to quiet atmosphere (there is almost only couples in the hotel) want to relax in the evening, and the a wide range of restaurants and local appreciate.

I wrote a lot about the rooms, but summarized here again:The size of the bathroom was sufficient, beds were great, unfortunately no patio furniture cushions and no umbrellas, rooms were poorly soundproofed, TV channels, ARD, ZDF, RTL, Sat1, SuperRTL, MTV, cleanliness okHand towels were exchanged as often as requested, always new shampoo, no coffee maker (the coffee at breakfast was good), minibar expensive.
