The first night due to dirtyness and insecurity in another hostel moved, although the next night I had already paid-I think that says it all. Bathrooms seem eternal not cleaned, grimy shower, stains on the sheets. In front of the door (right in front of the rooms) older men sat racist comments made the (made me feel insecure) my flatmate dungeon the room also. Breakfast not worth mentioning. My money I of course not refunded. The hostel, I pulled in the am, was even cheaper and much better! Read more

The hostel is situated on the outskirts of Alice Springs. You need to the center within walking distance, about 20-25 minutes. About 5 minutes by car. In the center there are many cheap restaurants and shopping. The hostel itself made a bad impression. Our room had about 10 sqm (no air-conditioning), bathroom and kitchen we had to share with another couple (for 60 Euro per night!!! ). The staff was friendly and tried hard. The hostel was a little out of the center. You went about 20 -25 minutes to the city center. The buildings are the same. We stayed in 2 different rooms, in a .5L with sink and air conditioning and in a 8 (Bunkhouse), it wasn't as nice. Looked more like an old storage room, but it was ok for one or two nights. To be able to cook you had to borrow dishes and pots for a deposit. The toilets were clean. The pool was a good size for a hostel.
