The hotel in general
The Romantik Hotel Traube in Lienz combines tradition and modern style. Family Vergeiner owns the hotel since 1860. Highlight of Hotel Traube is the indoor pool on the 6th floor with 180° panorama view on Lienz' mountains. In the last few years the hotels was renovaited and exists now about 52 rooms in several categories.
Hotel location
Centrally situated on the main square of Lienz at the opposite hand of the city hall. in summer and during christmas time the main square is pedestrian zone. We recommand the arrival via Südtirolerplatz.
Service at the hotel
Start your day with a spread breackfast from the buffet, we offer halfboard in the restaurant on the 1st floor, hotelbar & lobby. To all our other guests we recommend our restaurant "La Taverna" serving lunch & dinner.
Gastronomy in the hotel
Guests, booked halfboard, we serve a 3 course dinner with salad corner.
Our restaurant "La Taverna" invites you to enjoy your lunch or dinner in a mediterrean or regional way
Sports, entertainment and pool in the hotel
Our guest have the possibility to relax our indoor pool, as well as sauna and infrared cabine free of charge. During winter time we organize guided torch walks and funny curling evenings.

After renovations in the past years, the hotel offers five diverent categories, each with a bathtub or shower. The use of W-LAN in our rooms as well as in all other areas of the hotel is free of charge.
