The Hotel Tropical Playa is situated in the centre of Playa de las Americas, only 400 mts from the beach and 300 mts from the famous SIAM PARK acuatic park, also 5 min from a golf club las America and 20 min from the south airport Reina Sofia.
Service at the hotel
The hotel offers bars, restaurants and relaxing areas, for example a buffet restaurant, a la cart restaurant with live band music and professional shows, cocktail bar, snack bar and juice bar exterior, a mini market, game room, internet acces and Wifi- area.
Gastronomy in the hotel
Restaurant La Spiga opens from October till April.Hire you can enjoy Live-Music with our house band " Tropical",a nice dancing floor and spectacular shows. It's a select and warm ambient.
Buffet restaurant for breakfast, English and continental, perfect for clients with half board, All inclusive, is perfect for groups and special thematic dinner with a capacity for 350 clients.
Palapa Bar next to the swimming pool and the garden, we open from Mai till October the PALAPA BAR. We served cold drinks and delicious cocktails. In the night time we have every day live music and shows.
Cocktail Bar Specialities in cocktails and long drink's to enjoy a nice drink in a good ambient.
Sports, entertainment and pool in the hotel
In the sport area there is a tennis court, a multiuse sport court prepared for playing volleyball, handball, basketball and mini football. We also have a new gym, there you can practise fitness everyday.
You can enjoy the pool area and use sun beds, matres and parasols, everything free of charge.
There are two swimming pools; one for adults and one separated for children. Both of them are heated during the winter season. We also have a playground for children.

so... The staff at the front desk was very rude and abrupt, not all of them spoke or understood English, and from the hotel was rather good! The food is without taste, or almost every day the same offer in food we had a problem with our room card and were therefore put 'stupid' or they wanted to give us a map display. First after long unpleasant discussions the problem was fixed. On our last day we also kakalakken in the room, it was bad! This was our second vacation in this hotel, and we were once again very satisfied. The food was delicious and versatile. The staff is friendly and accommodating. Rooms are well appointed and clean, fridge, languages, tv and a hair dryer were available. The main points (bus station, bars, shopping, restaurant) very well reachable, only the beach was a bit far.
