... jetty is about 200 meters built the long, but whether this for the Tropicana sea beach is I don't know. You can use for a fee (4 euros) to the pier of the neighboring hotels) but you had to walk half an hour before you can use the reef. The hotel was good for the pool we're beachgoers with children. The beach is far more peaceful than the pool area, even with the loud music, which was a little annoying, but Kalim (the beach boy) soon sorted out for us with a tip - he even bought us some sun cream as my husband got burnt walking in the sea !

This was our 2nd time here as we went in June last year , love the hotel , staff are really friendly , pools are lovely - and constantly being cleaned , rooms are spacious with clean towels and beds made everyday . - in June 10
In a morning you do have to get up early for a bed around the pool, I get up around 7am and if you have handed your towels in the day before for clean towels the next morning the pool attendent does not start until 730am, so we kept our towels a couple of days at a time and dreid them on the balcony. - in May 10
The pool was huge and had a couple of water slides which are fun for all ages, the sunbeds are really compfortable with a thick mattress and pool towels are provided clean every day (the pool guys are great, and if you tip them, they will save the same bed for you everyday).

We then had a set of walldrobes and in this you had your free of charge digital safe, air con is also free of charge (should always be set to 23c apparently to avoid the stomach upset) and you get a TV which has a few English channels.

We stayed in room 1143 and our cleaner Metmer was great, he cleaned the room spotless every single day and always made sure everything was perfect for us (our fridge didnt work but we wasnt fussed yet he spotted it and got us a new one) and he could never do enough for you creating fancy designs out of towels and flowers. - in December 09

The room wasnt cleaned until 4pm in the afternoon everyday, we had a leaky smelly toilet and it smelt and when I reported it to reception (3 times), they eventually came to repair on the 4th time; however the toilet still leaked and as for the rep, the only time you see her is at induction and when she is taking your money, otherwise she makes herself very scare, Thomson should really have more than one rep situated in the hotel, when speaking to others they have more than enough reps, the holiday was disastrous, horrible and I was so disappointed, as you can imagine, two weeks of the same poor service, quality and hostile staff - there is no insurance that you can pay to get your money back - Thomson should be done on under the Trades Description and this hotel should not be on their books.

hotel was lovely staff were friendly apart from when you had a problem i noticed one of our ds lights had gone missing the only person in our room was the cleaner he told us he was going home to cairo the next day i tipped him twenty english pounds how stupid was i because when i complained about the missing ds they turned the blame on me and guess what the cleaner was working in the hotel its a scam i think they are all at it i called to the people staying in the hotel and warned them to check there belonging incase they had stuff missing and sure enough they had mobile phones gone and dont count on sophie the holday rep she wont help you out dont book trips with tomson get it from the guys around the pool much cheaper for same trip food not good

There was a lot of queueing at the lobby bar by very rude people (mainly Russians), but the British people , being used to queueing, were ok about it, also there is a tea and coffee station in there which is easier to access than the main restraunt. - in July 10

The location is very good with the hotel directly on the beach, it has a good gym (free) & spa area with sauna, steam room & indoor jacuzzi pool - free to use if you have a massage otherwise chargeable - we were told 10 euros per person per hour (?). - in April 10

The beach was great for us as we like to laze around and the fact that the sea was very shallow didn't bother us at all, there are small lagoons which you can swin in, but I would advise if you want the snorkelling go to a hotel with a jetty and reef and not a beach, which we will next time. - in August 10

- The beach was lovely, never more than a few people so you don,t feel crowded, you do have to walk out a bit to swim in deeper water but we didn,t find that a problem, quite nice, and the sea is so warm and calm, absoloute heaven, lovely and calm to swim in, amazing, would recommend to anyone wanting a peaceful calm quiet time - if anyone out there has been could you contact me as am looking into booking again for feb next year but we think we paid alot for our hol as everyone we talked to paid half of what we did, so any ideas on good deals for the package would be really helpful. - in April 10

went to tropicnana sea beach rooms were nice the pool was lovley beach was ok the shower was cold the sea view was lovley from our room now the bad part the food was vile me and my partner and my 11 old son got really bad tummy pains the runs and vomiting for most of 2 weeks we were there loads of people had it the rep was saying to everyone you should expect to get ill here she was unhelpful it was a cover up when we arrived lots of people were allready ill my partner said to her you have been busy with complaints she said i havent had any good liar anyway if you have been ill like us send a complaint to thomson like we have we are trying to get a refund also my sons phone was stolen from his room and i heard someone had a ds lite took from their room and the onley person who was in them rooms was the cleaner

whoever thought this hotel was excellent must have either won a free holiday to this so called place you call a hotel or paid next to nothing to come her, where do i start, firstly the food or should i say slop and freezing cold slop it was too heated up by water, the canteen is so small and i would say at a push it seated approx 80 guests, the staff are in a world of they own they never clear any plates and i must agree with the earlier review they are chipped or may contain dried on food- great. - in September 09

We went to Red Sea Cruise and ultimate desert with thomson and than realized we could get it cheaper (If you have done something like that before don't expect much more apart from the fact that locals are trying to make money of you everywhere you move. - in April 10
But the highlight has to be the Ultimate Desert Experience, quad biking out in the sand dunes and a camel ride topped off with a BBQ and dance show in the desert in bedwin tents. - in September 09
I would highly recommend the Ultimate desert Experience through Thomson, We taken quads in to the desert to meet up with some camels which we taken in to the desert to see the sun set, then back to the quads to meet the bedouin who live there an have some food and drink an a dance with them then back by quads at night.

As a tip to anyone thinking of going take beakers for your drinks for during the day as they only give the soft drinks and beer and plastic cups, they will gladly fill up any size beaker for you no questions asked. - in June 10

the drinks- i wouldnt bother with they are all disgusting and whatever drink you do get it will be warm and for a 4 star hotel to be serving drinks in plastic cups is a disgrace and i would not say it it is for health and safety they are just a greedy hotel trying to make cut backs and as for cut backs i think the same has applied to the sun loungers because it doesnt matter what sunbed you lie i can guarantee it will be broke. - in December 09

The pool area was lovely but we only spent one day around the pool because you need to be up at 6am to reserve a bed, we just went down to the beach it was much quieter and there were always plenty of beds. - in May 10
