Simple family hotel, the rooms were very clean and large (in accordance with the website pictures), very rich and delicious breakfast buffet, which strengthens for subsequent walks. Very personally managed. If you don't expect luxury spa area and large and reasonably priced a few days hiking holiday would like is here correctly waived. Read more

The hotel Tyrol was a very personally run Hotel. Hiking-tips and thanks to the map from the chef Hans fried and the delicious pizza and calzones (Popeye) from the boss without boundaries' it was a super nice stay the hotel Tyrol. Also at the Breakfast is missing nothing. The area is really nice and there are lots of great hiking trails and ski lifts to choose from. Welschnofen is a quiet peaceful place in the Dolomites, the ideal starting point for skiing. A hotel in the seventies retro, lovingly restored. The hotel is situated on a quiet side street very centrally located close to the Orsmitte. Large dining room with a bar, reasonably priced drinks. Seasonal (January doldrums) was only the pizzeria in operation, but nothing didn't mind, because I have rarely eaten so good piazzas. The breakfast is wide, the coffee (Juius Meinl) top notch. Best location for tours to Rosengarten and Latemar, also close to the Val di Fassa. Tourist information, hiking bus (!) and supermarket just around the corner on the main road, the hotel is quietly located in a side street. Trip to Bolzano with its several museums, shopping, public pools, etc. possible by bus or in about half an hour by car.
The rooms facing the courtyard have access to a large communal terrace, in front of each room there were a table, chairs and sun loungers. Read more

Highly recommended for Biker as we are. Very centrally located for day trips. All around nice passports and sights stick with the camera. The hotel is very family and the chef is terrific. Always very accommodating, of course helpful, has constantly tips in stock, without being pushy and funny. The restaurant has the best beach, the boss, also an attentive madam, brought us world best Pizza. The stay is absolutely recommendable. Read more
