Hotel Vasco da Gama

This hotel is ideal for adult travellers who do not need to be entertained all of the time. But you must remember this is Kenya & to a large extent still a very poor country, whos tourist trade has suffered badly over the last few years. The Hotel it's self is fairly old, & probably showing it's age - but although the furnishings etc are old they are well looked after by the staff. The hotel is a quiet Vasco da Gama resort, slightly higher at the end of the shanzu-beach. It has no own beach section, beach is only about 200 m but the walk, it was a nice away through the garden to the neighboring hotel flamingo beach and dolphin. All these two complimentary access, in particular the beautiful large pool of the flamingo. At the pool and on the lawn in front of the hotel free beach chairs available, but one can use also the beach chairs in the two other hotels on the beach.
