Hotel Vecchio Borgo is a charming hotel with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. On the edge of one of the most typical and ancient markets, in the very heart of Palermo, it offers 32 free wi-fi rooms, all soundproofed, parquet flooring, furnished with poster-bed, hydro-massage shower and much more.
In the elegant foyer, a cosy relax area is provided with free daily newspapers and 24-hour hot tea. The daily breakfast offers a great variety of local home-made food which is served in a comfortable room, looking out onto the ancient market.
A cosy meeting-room with a seating capacity of about 10 is ideal for little successful conferences and workshops.

“Borgo Vecchio” is one of the four historic markets in Palermo along with “Ballarò”, “il Capo”, “la Vucciria”. In the very heart of the most evocative part of the city, Borgo Vecchio is the sixteenth-century district which was originally inhabited by sailors and fishermen, but later developed thanks to the immigration of craftsmen and businessmen, which provided it with its lasting mercantile character. Today it is also one of the favourite meeting area for young people.
Borgo Vecchio rises among the port, the shopping area and the historic centre, which makes it the best starting point to fully enjoy Palermo. The best-known monuments and attractions, from the Medieval Age to the Contemporary one, are easily reachable by foot. The location is excellent, one is fast to foot everywhere. The evening market around the hotel and enjoy the hustle and bustle of the locals. All every night builds as a butcher and a charcoal grill on its roll roast pork roasts definitely try! Chic hotel, unfortunately in something unpleasant situation (partly something dirty streets around), but quiet. Parking is directly in front of the house (closed-for not guests). The hotel lies in a typically Sicilian populated area, nearby the shopping streets via Roma and via Maqueda/via Ruggero Settimo. Several small business in direct proximity. The hotel equipment, cleanliness and the service were very good. There is only breakfast, what for Italian conditions was very good. The public was international in all age groups.
