The hotel 'Villa Western' is tucked away but very centrally located next to the beach ' four seasons' in the shopping district of Borkum. Because there is no car traffic, the nights are very quiet. In the small breakfast room made a very rich breakfast for a good start into the day. The beach and the 'tide country' are easy to reach. This year we are in for the third time in this hotel and we were very happy. Read more

The hotel was not easy to find, as the entrance tucked away in a hallway with bikes newspapers delivered. The lady at the front desk was very friendly. Our request for a hypo-allergenic pillows was immediately met. However, the room was a disappointment. The size was not the pictures on the website and the cleanliness was unfortunately only superficially. The mattresses were worn, toilet reeked of urine. In a towel were still hairs. Very good, clean place to stay. The staff is friendly and helpful. Would recommend this hotel. The breakfast buffet was varied and very good. The property is right on the beach, and downtown. The bus to the info center and it is only 5 minutes walk. Also the waterpark and cinema are nearby. There were lots of things to do because everything was very close. Read more
