In New Orleans there are two "W" hotels - a large on the edge of and a small heart of the French Quarter. The smaller is a bit bite, but also less well equipped than the larger.
Unfortunately the rooms are on the small side and in the bathroom space wasted journey. But the decor is modern and well, the beds are comfortable and the courtyard rooms very quiet.
