It's obvious that life in Schenna is great. This has already been discovered in the last century by the archduke Johann, an offspring of the highest European nobility. In the middle of the century he bought the castel of Schenna, restructured it an felt, no doubt, very comfortable there. Nothing to be surprised about! In the pleasant surroundings of the low mountain range, where no abrupt weather changes occur, you have an ample view over cedar tops on to Obermais and all around the entire county “Burggrafenamt”.

We were in this year for the seven times in braunwald. Friendliness and helpfulness was capitalized. The food is always Spietze, very varied, every day there was something new and very tastefully presented. The wines are excellent. We look forward already to the holiday with family in braunwald 2012. We can only recommend the hotel. Read more
