As on the homepage shown the hotel lies directly on the forest. Ideal Starting point for extensive hikes. The only thing what I 'complain' could have been for the region but raised prices during dinner but the good quality of the dishes credit. We were with the hotel very satisfied and will be on trips to Thüringen stay there again.

We spent a short but very pleasant vacation in the waldmühle zella-mehlis. From the town itself, we were a bit disappointed, however there are very lots of possibilities, the vacation in Thuringia to experience. The atmosphere in the hotel was very good and from the friendly service for breakfast and dinner we were thrilled!
in case someone interested, is worthwhile a visit to the Geflügelmuseums in viernau, as well as the weapons and car museum in Dudley. Read more

the hotel is really nice, well situated and features a restaurant, which was good Thuringian kitchen to human prices offers. For our 15 months old child we were given a travel cot available together, which was also good in our normal double room fit inside. Ski shoes on and the front desk, Sledding there also( back bring your own).
the breakfast bits in buffet form, and very tasty.
small downside of the hotel: there is no lounge with TV, when you're not in the room you want to be.

We had booked two rooms. Unfortunately, there was one of them only in smoking rooms available. That made the atmosphere a bit broken. Best of all, the front of the hotel directly to provide. As family hotel a children's play room would be nice. On floors smells partly unpleasant it. This should changed! Otherwise a nice hotel, with nice staff and a good breakfast. Read more
