Nice lobby, the rest is but a little seedy (if it isn't a renovated floor is) guests from old to young, on average but rather younger.
Room on the 9th floor unrenovated floor was quite small with a bed that from for reasons unknown on wheels. Window didn't close completely, switch on the air conditioner only with violence adjust. The settings but hadn't affect the function. overall the air conditioning as well as the hallway everything quite old and run down, but mostly working.

... for the Westside in the 63d Street. And on arrival, we were pleasantly surprised. The room was great contrary to our expectation. Bright and modern and fully renovated. Not really big but it was enough with table and chair, small Schranknische and a bunk bed. We were anxious to bathrooms and also there we were pleasantly surprised. On the whole floor there was 11 bathrooms. All individually lockable with sink, toilet and shower. A high-rise, non-descript house with three elevators, whereas the lower levels for swimming pool, exercise area were booked. I was in a single room at the 9. Floor. The course felt very somber and rude. Breakfast was not included in the rate, but I could for example use swimming pool and sauna with no extra charge. I met at the YMCA mostly (although not only) and the young at heart for younger guests.

great value for money place to stay! If you generally not spend time in your room (shower & sleep) is well cared for here. The house is very simple! The rooms are small and there's only floors toilet and shower (individually and lockable available). Basically was cleaned regularly, but some people behave as you probably won't do it at home. This hostel is absolutely not to be recommended! After the first night we moved to another hotel! The rooms were tiny, you could hardly hang out to be used for two people! The bunk bed was unstable that you really with every movement afraid! The toilets and showers were appalling, everything dirty and moldy! Read more
