The interior of the family-run 4-star hotel impresses by its warm, artistic atmosphere, which, together with the modern technical equipment and personal service, is thoroughly tailored to the needs and the well-being of our guests. We are a very special hotel, since art accompanies our guests throughout the hotel – from the elegant entrance hall through the artistically staged mezzanines up to the stylish guest rooms that are individually designed. Besides the WLAN access which is available for our hotel guests, free of charge, there is also a hotel- owned garage.

Our city hotel «Der Wilhelmshof» is located in a quiet side alley in the heart of Vienna, in the midst of a classic turn-of-the-century Viennese district, which has for centuries been a melting pot of different cultures. The typical «Old Viennese» Flair can still be felt in the 2nd District of Vienna near the Praterstern. The world-famous Viennese Prater, Vienna's most popular amusement place with its many leisure facilities and the famous Ferris wheel is «just around the corner».

We offer personal and individual service. As hotel garni we offer you a rich breakfast and a cosy bar (with a snack menu) - but no restaurant. At our reception you can find every information about Vienna - and our reception will be glad to help you organising your stay.

An extensive breakfast buffet is a perfect way to start the day. Begin your day with a healthy and sumptuous breakfast to energize for your excursions into Vienna. We try as much as possible to offer our guests fresh regional products such as Irene's freshly prepared fruit salad (the best one far and wide!) or Asha's nut mixture. On our breakfast buffet table you also find a selection of bio-products, and (if desired) products free of gluten and lactose.

For a business meeting during the day or a relaxed finish of the day- our bar awaits you!

Our cosy bar (non-smoking), kept in warm red and orange colours, with 30 comfortable seats is a popular place to start into the evening or to quietly relax after a busy day. As everywhere in the «Wilhelmshof», here, too, our guests are surrounded by art and exquisite decoration.

Here our guests have the opportunity to relax in a stylish atmosphere with a glass of wine or to socialize over a cold beer. For late hunger, we offer a small range of foods.

Our StandART single and double rooms have an up-to-date furniture and impress in particular by the generous, artistic wall design. In the bright and friendly rooms the full charm of the work can unfold and thus enrich the stay of our guests.

WienerART single and double rooms

These rooms have been decorated in the typical Viennese colours and are named after famous Viennese personalities. Thanks to the finely tuned accents, the design perfectly blends with the modern furniture. The rooms are «stylish» and equipped with the right amount of snugness and typical Viennese flair. One night in the "Romy-Schneider"- or "Sigmund-Freud"-room? Everything is possible...

ARTelier single and double rooms

Our ARTelier single and double rooms were designed in 2011 by the Austrian artist Ty Waltinger to be stylish, rich in detail and creative, based on individual colour concepts. Get enthralled by large, unusually arranged art and discover the various fine-tuned colours and exquisite modern materials and accessories. Allow yourself to be surprised anew each time by the different works of art.

Our new designed SuiteART-rooms show a spectacular way, how "different" to interpret the subject of hotel rooms.

Three absolutely incredible designed rooms have originated. Full of inspiration and poetry: Silver Moon (bright, airy and playful), Golden Sunrise (strong orange and red) and Deep Purple (strong purple with silver and gold). Dive into an unknown world of colors; and invite yourself to stay and discover the extraordinary design......
