Hotel Wolcott

For a short stay the hotel is perfectly fine. The rooms are to some extent large. Only the furniture is already somewhat older but okay. The bed is large and comfortable. The only, if you had a room to the road out, it is very noisy. Read more

Hotel is for a city break in which you are underway the whole day perfectly okay. The only negative was, that the windows are not sound-isolated at night and you wake up in the morning. For breakfast there was only muffins and coffee, which was very tasty. Breakfast could be so advanced. Read more

The wolcott is the location is hard to beat street between Broadway and Fifth Avenue. Our room was on the small side, but adequate for a city break. For a longer stay would be a bigger closet plus and the bathroom could be more spacious. The breakfast is very monotonous, every day coffee/tea and muffins (the therefor but are very good), but okay for those start to the day. All in all, the hotel is a good choice, although I am not sure whether I due to the wide range of hotels in Manhattan would book again. Read more

The hotel is an older building with lots of flair (1904). The room we were assigned was large, with the exception of the bathroom. For a city, the room on the only night is used, but it was enough though. In the morning you get in the lobby coffee, tea and muffins. The hotel is in a great central location, very good travel connections-U-Bahn, taxi, restaurants and shops all just around the corner. One must adjust oneself to the city and the reality and shouldn't forget that you booked country. Own language skills are all a plus, the staff is very friendly and accommodating. They tried the wishes and questions of the guests easily meet. Read more
