A clean, family friendly hotel with delicious food, nice staff, which made an effort to speak German. Centrally located in the heart of the village, where you can shop and strolls. To the beach it was only a short way from about .300 M-a sandy beach with shallow water about .hundert meters and very clean. For children there were several playgrounds, you can rent cheap cars or with regular services, tour operator or the 'small railroad' before numerous plan excursions. The central location of the Zorbas is in any case of advantage, you can get really everywhere in just a few minutes quickly (village square, supermarkets, taverns and to the beach). The bus stop to Chania/Rethymnon are off the highway about .10 minutes away. We had only booked breakfast, which was totally sufficient. All restaurants/restaurants there are almost always the same offer so always in the arts of the respective cook/chef's and there are. So try that. A great hotel with very friendly hosts. It is in consideration taken. We (2 families with a 1-year old child) felt very comfortable. Very child-friendly (the family had two nice daughters). The restaurant is also very tasty. Have eaten here many times (this is even half board worth it). The location is absolutely perfect. Nothing more than 50 meters away is! All in all, it was a great holiday and for the money, you get nothing better (Best three star hotel we'have stayed in)! Warning: george polis is a quiet place and for young people party... Read more
