If you had the choice between Italian flair and style or typical Tyrolean hospitality and comfort, what would you choose? Obviously both! That's just what we offer at the Hotel Zum Hasen in Terento in the Pustertal Valley. We know how to make you enjoy the "sunny side of life", all year long!

A little jewel, that’s the best fitting definition for our Hotel. Not only because of its facilities and services, but also for the kitchen: in particular our in-house pizzeria, looking directly on the Terento Church square and a much appreciated local meeting point.

The hotel is ideal for unforgettable days spent skiing in one of the most beautiful ski areas in Alto Adige: the Plan de Corones, just 20 minutes away from the Hotel.

In Terento, the sunniest village in South Tyrol on the elevated plain above the Pustertal valley, on ca. 1.210 m above sea level.

Also in wintertime, South Tyrol offers a unique opportunity for visitors to commune with Nature, and any small trip is always well worth the effort. The extraordinary world of the Dolomites with its
mountains resembling gothic cathedrals, tall towers and sharp peaks, with their colours changing from hour to hour, varying from pure white to yellow, pale pink and deep red, are an absolutely unmissable sight for all true mountain enthusiasts.

While the Plan de Corones satisfies the wildest dreams of ski enthusiasts, down in the valleys the original Christmas markets at Brunico, Bolzano, Bressanone, Merano and Vipiteno offer visitors the chance to experience a real Alto Adige Christmas with all five of their senses.

Christmas markets are the perfect choice for those who want to experience a special and enchanting atmosphere. The richly decorated stands offer a particularly attractive choice of objects: lots of original ideas for gifts for both adults and children alike; Alto Adige Advent specialities, as well as small souvenirs for making the magical pre-Christmas period even more special. And to keep out the cold, what could be better than a glass of hot, fragrant vin brûlé?

Bressanone and Brunico are the nearest towns. Both boast a pretty medieval centre and offer lots of opportunities for shopping. If you feel like venturing even further, just a hour’s drive away are Innsbruck and Bolzano.

The Hotel Zum Hasen is very typical and inviting. Just as Terento atmosphere and traditions.
You will sit down at the table in a dining room all covered in wood or in our own pizzeria, and enjoy an aperitif or the last drink of the day in the hotel bar.

You can easily get to your room with a lift, at whatever floor you are staying.

Our kitchen is consequently varied and full of tasty alternatives. On one side Tyrolean and South Tyrolean specialities, and on the other Italian delicacies: we will spoil you with the best of our two worlds.

The Falkensteiner all-comfort half board deal offers you in the morning a rich buffet breakfast with organic
corner for health buffs, and in the evening a choice of excellent menus. Every week our kitchen team gives its best in special gastronomical evenings and gala dinners.
