Beautiful, family-run hotel in the middle of the nature the southern black forest. Definitely recommendable is a visit to the restaurant. Perhaps slightly more expensive than normal restaurant, but modern kitchen, on the quality and selection of the meals highest importance. Here is everything (!) freshly cooked and that is also reflected in the taste again. Full 6 points! Read more

Pleasant Black Forest hotel in an idyllic, somewhat remote location. Very good kitchen, decent breakfast with slight improvement overall (fruit salad, Yogurt?)
Beautiful, large garden with lots of toys and space for kids, nice outdoor terrace. The furniture and interiors in the rooms were already a bit older, but still in order. Good mattresses and a nice balcony. Enough Parlplätze and friendly staff. For recovering the Rhine Valley and relaxing holiday with exotic flairs Basel recommended. Read more

Had the tip of friends. Stayed in July to a five-day vacation in fröhlichen Landmann". Had a very warm welcome, beautiful, totally newly built, very comfortable room with great view over the valley. Very varied breakfast, excellent cuisine, professional, very friendly staff. Junior and boss always courteous and helpful. Tips for excursions and hiking destinations of highly recommended, and wild selbsterlegtes. We'll gladly come back. Found ourselves totally repealed. 100% recommend this hotel to others.

Check-in on the 'hosts Sunday' very unfriendly, sink in the bathroom needs in dire need of a thorough cleaning, the overflow was black from dirt (not very hygenic) bordered, very poor cell phone reception, the number of the information specified tv-channels very over the top, actually only minimum number of channels, a complaint was not possible, as front desk was not staffed, tv equipment is getting old, flat screen TVs are standard in this hotel category in the meantime, breakfast was okay on the first day, on the second day the choice was...
