We stayed a weekend, in the context of a small user meeting, staying there. The hotel is located right on the main square, the beautiful fritzlar. It is for a short stay good. The hotel can be booked with overnight accomodation and breakfast. The rooms are not very spacious, but okay. The bathroom could use a renovation in the near future, particularly the showers. Praiseworthy is the food, delicious food on the menu, with huge portions. The breakfast was varied, something for everyone.

The hotel 'great' is located in the heart of the kids city fritzlar, directly on the market.
This is a small hotel which is for shorter stops or as a place to stay for a weekend is good.
Extended stay, but I wouldn't recommend this hotel.
The rooms are appropriately furnished. Some (we had room 12) have only a tiny bathroom, which urgently needed a renovation.
The food in the hotel was plentiful and the taste was okay.
In the town itself there were a few cafe's and bars.
The staff you had to see what you need for a day.

With a direct view of the famous market square with many beautiful ornamented timber-framed buildings and the Dorfbrunnen the hotel to the top.
The cosy, family atmosphere with a larger group invites you to linger. However, if you a comfortable rooms with bath/shower would like to have, is here wrongly at the place. More than one person would not in the bathroom, otherwise he/she claustrophobia. If you want a hearty meal to want to take, will not be disappointed.
