The hotel consists of half-timbered buildings/stone. Perfectly restored. I had einEinzelzimmer, small but nice. Absolutely well renovated and clean. It was a smoking room but it was not noticable. The view was to the castle, the courtyard, well. You could possibly get lost in the hotel. The breakfast room by the entrance but not a problem. The Staff was great. All questions in the best way answered. Only problem: the driving directions without a GPS. If I go back short break (unfortunately not differently) in Wernigerode am: just here! K. J. Read more

We have enjoyed our stay in Wernigerode very, the hotel has a great location in the old town, and the rear rooms offer a beautiful view of the castle. In the courtyard are. The staff was very friendly and courteous, for breakfast there was a wide buffet.
From the hotel, the city is very good to explore on foot.
A must in Wernigerode is, of course, the HSL of the Brocken mountain. Read more

The hotel am anger is a very well-kept, clean and comfortable family hotel. We spent three days in Wernigerode and not only the beautiful city, the excursion possibilities, but also the friendly, helpful staff made for it, we felt very comfortable during our stay. The hotel is in a central, yet quiet location, the view of the castle is truly unique. A very wide and good tasting breakfast buffet with local specialities made, that our day started well.
