We were from. 30,09 to 03 October 2011 in larger group for hiking with the family. The area is very nice. There is a huge area, but unfortunately hardly maintained. The buildings have their best times behind itself. The rooms are appropriately equipped, but lacking any comfort. In many places you can see the ravages of time. From the village center isolated hotel with no possibility restaurants or pubs nearby to visit. Very spacious and steep terrain (for disabled people not recommended but to inform people wait a paradise). Size of the room was adequate, but very noisy. Simple but tasty food with very small menu. Highly recommended for travellers with just a few nights or 'nature freaks'. It is perhaps in the warmer months not so gloomy. Read more

About 30 minutes by car to Chemnitz/ to Dresden about 35 minutes and to Leipzig are about 45 minutes by car. Resort: 7HA large with Seeuferbereich and multiple buildings. In this hotel you can meet pure FDGB - atmosphere. Not only the premises ( for more than 25 years minimal refurbished) are dirty, but the grounds are unclean and is apparently not used anymore.
