The hotel is located directly in the pedestrian zone and is an ideal starting point for sightseeing, shopping etc.
For those who prefer to travel by car there is a parking garage next to the hotel, but you have to venture into the pedestrian precinct to drive! (We were there once around the city rumgekurvt...) Read more

The single room does not have any separation of the shower area from the rest of the room, which is very hard to get used to. All in all, a highly optimized room with little Charme.
The soundproofing to the inner courtyard, as well as to adjoining rooms was moderate. Conversations in the next room, which in a normal volume can be carried out. The door to the hallway was also produces no noteworthy confidentiality or peace.
The location in the pedestrian zone is a journey by car very inconvenient. Read more

We stayed at the Christmas market visit of a night in the hotel am Rathaus. In this case, the hotel was ideal, since it was immediate at the Christmas market and the train station just ten minutes walking time.
The room is rather small and without balcony, but functional equipped and kept clean. The breakfast buffet was large enough and varied selection a.
Both the front desk as the check-out was very efficient and friendly.

We stay more often in Freiburg, the hotel am Rathaus is the first choice. With at short notice booking there is a special price-call to inquire. The waiters there is a parking garage. The hotel entrance is situated in a shopping arcade. From our room you could look directly on the town hall square, where the Christmas market takes place soon Freiburg. The breakfast was great.
