To our great surprise there are the apartments not at the or even in the hotel, but about seven minutes walk away in the direction of the place-so it was not on the lake! The hotel del porto is a very nice, rather small house directly on the shore of lake garda. From the terrace/roof terrace, you had a really great view. The hotel is only through a 'strip' separated from the lake. The staff are very nice and meet all desires in a pleasant way. The breakfast is good, simple Italian. There is a very delicious cappuccino, scrambled eggs is prepared fresh to order. Otherwise there were 2-3 sorts of cold sausages and cheese, fruit, cereal, juice, Yogurt. Great hotel, in one of the tourism has not so busy area. The place is very highly recommended. Many small restaurants and bars in the immediate area. The hotel is right on the water. The parking garage is located a little dropped off from the hotel. But that was not a problem as a shuttle service available. We had a room on the first floor, #107 which had a partial view of the ocean was somewhat obstructed by trees. This hotel can be highly recommended. We will be back. Read more
