The jumeira rotana is a great hotel with a good starting point for excursions. With the taxi it was cheap and good in few minutes to many sights (gold Souk, Dubai mall, burj Khalifa, etc.). Even if the beach is within walking distance, you should take a taxi allows (for 40 °C 20 minutes are excellent). The great view from the pool of the skyline of Dubai, you must see. We can recommend this hotel for a city trip unlimited recommended! Very centrally located, with the taxi in ten minutes to the old town and in the Dubai mall. Many shops and restaurants in the immediate vicinity! The rooms are very spacious with flat-screen etc. and lacked nothing. A good price/performance ratio! The slightly older, but renovated hotel offers everything, which one needs for a city trip to Dubai. Above all, an excellent kitchen! The only point of criticism, which we had in the hotel, were the cushions for the beach chairs by the pool dirty. Read more

Hotel is in a great location for all activities, whether in all directions by taxi or walk to the public beach. Supermarkets, shops, bus stops-everything in two air-conditioned minutes to reach..
