Overall the apartments may have been basic, but they proved excellent value for money, said exactly what they were on the tin and if you go with an open mind and ready to join in you will not be disappointed in the slightest.

While we fully accept this was a ‘budget’ hotel, we have never stayed somewhere so unclean - the bedding was dirty, the carpet was unclean; there were stains on the walls; there was litter on the floor; and the wet room was mouldy and did not drain properly.

Okay the fridge may not be the best, the hot plate is not everyone’s idea of being able too cook a meal on, but to be honest when we go away holiday and we do not want to cook like we do everyday at home – chillax folk and enjoy.

The Kavala is exactly what it says on the tin, 2 star self catering - change this bit to studio apartments - limited cooking space and it is spot on.
