Koh Tao Star Villa offers spacious one-bedroom apartments, a huge two-bedroom penthouse or the complete 4 bedroom, 4 bathroom villa for rent. This modern, eco friendly villa has panoramic sea, jungle and sunset views.
Hotel location
Koh Tao Star Villa is located near the end of a private road overlooking Sairee Beach. It is about 80 meters above sea level and Sairee Beach is about 800 meters away.
Service at the hotel
A free taxi service is provided daily to and from Sairee Plaza. Apartments are cleaned daily. Our Manager is usually on hand to answer any questions about the accommodation or about the island in general. Many quality restaurants provide a delivery service to Koh Tao Star Villa.
Gastronomy in the hotel
Breakfast is available up till 11.00am.
Sports, entertainment and pool in the hotel
The games room at Koh Tao Star Villa has a professional quality pool table, a darts board and a small 'home' gym. There are various board games, books, DVD's and CD's available for the use of our guests plus there is some 2 Tb of movies and TV shows available on our computer network.
Hotel room/Accommodation
Each of our spacious one-bedroom apartments has an open plan lounge with fully equipped kitchenette; fully furnished, air conditioned bedroom and en-suite bathroom. There are remote controlled ceiling fans throughout. There is a wall mounted LCD TV with home cinema system and satellite TV. Large living room has double french doors to combine the inside living area with the spacious covered terrace. This looks out west, over the jungle to the sea at Sairee providing fantastic sunset view. There is also a free internet connection and free coffee, tea and drinking water.
The penthouse has all of the above facilities plus an open plan lounge/diner with vaulted ceiling; a large fully equipped kitchen and a library on the mezzanine floor that can be used as an extra bedroom if necessary.

The view from Star Villa is unbelievable! Alan and Heidi are the best hosts you can ask for. They picked us up and dropped us off at the ferry, which was super convenient. We were also introduced to their friend Dave, a scuba instructor, who took us scuba diving to some of his favorite spots. I can't say enough about this place -- you really feel at home at this wonderfully villa. Read more

The owners of Star Villa have created the best rooms on Koh Tao. The quality of the construction and the furnishings is impeccable.
The location is outstanding - quietly perched on the side of the mountain giving beautiful views of the ocean and the sunset ever day.
Just a couple of minutes down the hill from Star Villa is Sairee Beach with all of its shops, restaurants, and night life. And if you do not feel like leaving the room, the owners will help to arrange delivery of your dinner directly at Star Villa.

Good shops in the town for flip flops and also an ipod shop which is worth a look.
Unfortunately as were only here for 2 days we didn't get to do any excursions but Koh Tao is well known for its diving. The snorkelling is very good around Freedom beach.
There was a games room with dvds, darts, a pool table and a number of board games.
Heidi and Alan are looking to build a pool soon which will be brilliant.
Beach about 5 mins away but can get cramped, i would recommend Freedom or Tatoo beach, they are less crowded. Read more

We just debated if this is our favourite accommodation any where and the answer is Yes.
We stayed for 8 nights from 07.01.10 and wish we could have longer. We will back.
The apartments are lovely and stylish with good furniture and fittings and all the mod cons. Great terrace to have a drink in the evening and watch the sun set into the koh tao harbour. Great games room with pool table, and lovely breakfasts available.
