The Kyichu Hotel is named after the Kyichu River, which in Tibetan is known as \"the river of happiness\". It is one of the oldest private hotels in Lhasa catering to travellers, the Kyichu is a cozy 52-room, family run establishment. It is a simple hotel, but we liked it a lot.
