we had an excellent stay at La Bussola in a big room with a balcony with view on the see. Very friendly people, very helpfull. The manager speaks English very well, the rest a little, as almost everywhere in the south of Europe. But with a booklet and some effort you can learn very quickly the essential lines in a foreighn language. We can recommand the boattrip to the Aeolian islands. The service of the hotel is perfect. A very nice hotel, with friendly staff. Typical Calabrian kitchen, every day fresh and served delicious. The rooms are modern equipped. The hotel is located about 2 kilometer from a gorgeous beach, with the bus problem-free. A rental car is highly recommendable, as you can explore the beautiful area.
