Absolutely recommendable lodge on Arenalsee, in particular by the hillside location and related view of the sea (not in the volcano Arenal), food and guest service by the owner scores. Few rooms make for informal atmosphere. Zivilisationsgeräusche equal to 0, but voices in the rain forest without end. Extremely nice host, with which one gladly plauscht. A the best Frühstücksverpflegungen during our Costa Rica-trip and on request great dinner. Again at any time, only the best memories! Read more

In wonderful location small Lodge with style, with nice staff, with a 500-year-old tree in front of the terrace, with animals and tropical plants all around. The entrance of the street is short and well developed a breakfast area with great views of the Arenalsee; the evening stunning sunsets over the lake... Wonderful! Read more

beautiful hotel in great location above the lake just before Nuevo Arenal Arenal. Breakfast was good. Restaurants there was nearby. But without
rental car is nothing at all.
