If you are looking for a reasonably priced accommodation in the very center of Weimar, then this is your place. The Labyrinth Hostel is characterized by its individuality and its passion for details in its personally designed rooms. It’s also known for its cozy common room, and thanks to the fully-equipped guest kitchen you can inexpensively prepare your own meals.
Hotel location
The hostel is located right on the central "Goetheplatz" square. Here begins the car-free downtown and all bus lines meet here. All sights of Weimar are in easy walking distance. Right in front of the hostel leaves the bus line 6 to the memorial Buchenwald.
Service at the hotel
The hostel offers free WiFi throughout the building and if you prefer to travel without your own device, it has free laptops for you to use and stay connected. They serve a rich, 3.50 € breakfast buffet until 12 noon and offer free tea and coffee around the clock. Other special services include free book exchange, a gratis map of Weimar, and a reception manned by friendly staff who are happy to answer all of your questions.
Gastronomy in the hotel
The breakfast buffet is served daily from 8 a.m. to 12 noon and consists of unlimited tea and coffee, freshly baked rolls, bread and toast, a variety of jams, cheeses and sausages, as well as cereals and milk.

The rooms are individually designed by Weimar artists (please see the pictures). What’s hidden in the “Iceland Room”, the “Lila Room” or the “Room Transit”? Every one is different and you will come to recognize each designer’s signature style. The creativity can be found in our single and double rooms, 4- to 8-bed dorms, and in the rooms with loft or platform beds. Bathrooms are usually shared, but there are also 3 ensuite rooms.

I found the hostel was in general very well done. But if you want convenience, and not on the Jugendherbergestil , should better do not stay for overnight here.
The bathrooms are on the corridor, but very tidy and clean.
the rooms themselves are a bit small, but each is alone super made. no matter wether you are on books is, in colors or bunk beds.
the hotel is more for people, the young and those it does not constitute anything in the backyard is.

The hostel is because of the location and the price/performance ratio rather for undemanding traveler a tip. For families or more demanding travellers but certainly completely unsuitable. The location is close to the city center, but because of the upstream bus station was very loud and also on many/often ruthless late for deep sleepers suitable. The breakfast offered was found to be of the value just acceptable, but offers absolutely no standards! The only highlight was the coffee offered free of charge.
