Very nice location, easy to reach, (A66 departure Wächtersbach -right after Aufenau) many parking spaces, 30 rooms, a bowling alley, a sauna, large rooms with good views, breakfast buffet was sufficient and good. Read more

We really enjoyed the stay only available on eBay, because the comments about the food-especially steaks-so good. The steaks were a real experience. 14.50 euro for about 300 g heavy a lovely steak from their own beef, butter soft, great taste, good fried potatoes (or other side dishes on request). So nice I have no steak.
Decor of the hotel and restaurant was a bit dated, but in best condition and very clean, staff very friendly and accommodating.

We actually wanted a a low-priced, clean place to stay and were pleasantly surprised. However we were in the renovated part. The rooms were clean, the bathroom was large, new, and finally a shower without Ellbogenkontakt. The food was excellent, unfortunately only once, since the next day 1056 was. The place is not much to look at,Aufenau enough shopping possibilities were in the middle at wächtersbach. Not a problem for us as we weren't in the whole day hiking. Read more

The hotel was with the furnishings, cleanliness and quality of the food was really very good, but we wanted a quiet weekend and it was not possible, because both Friday, as well as evening Saturday Christmas partying took place and therefore until late in the night so sleep was, that we left at half past two at night. You should make sure when booking, that either no events take place or that you get a room on the second floor. Read more

At short notice because I cut my overtime could I two days before arrival this restaurant selected, and I am pleasantly surprised.
