When driving directions the hotel has be well-groomed appearance shown. We received a warm welcome. Our rooms still not renovated part were big enough, clean and tidy, with a balcony. As well as the spa area was inviting, friendly and clean. The staff were very friendly and always helpful. The attached restaurant was with attention to detail furnished. Lovingly equipped self-managed country hotel with very good kitchen
We had a big room TypeFrauenstein' in the old building with double bed, couch, desk, balcony and bath ( shower ), for our stay this was entirely reasonable. The rooms type 'Bavarian Meran' are new and spacious, special the bathroom.

Landhotel rage-I highly recommend!
I was with my mom for five days. It is a central starting point for many excursions and hikes.
We had at our travel time the weather was still great, since the Bavarian forest is really worth a visit.
The hotel is very family-run and the owners, and the staff are very friendly. The food is good.
