As already mentioned, the hotel is one of the most beautiful that I have ever visited, but unfortunately also the most unfriendly unhelpful that I have ever booked! A hotel with ambiance, the theme of the hotel is there with every detail. From the sink in the drum design to the elevator, that moves like a ship, everything is atmospheric. All of the staff were very nice, the evening stay in the hotel bar rounded off the pleasant feeling. We would gladly recommend it, also to families with younger children. Read more

We had a double room in the 'Africa themed area'. The room had a balcony and was spacious and nicely furnished. Breakfast was varied and the staff were very friendly, excellent reception. Hotel is a little out of the way, right near the zoo and the aquarium. Since it rained on the first day, we only once went to the tropical aquarium. We spent two great days in Hamburg and would book again with the Lindner Park Hotel Hagenbeck. A small drawback with the room furnishings as the air conditioning didn't emit any warm air.
