We stayed at the March 2010 in Los Zochos and very impressed, but this year it was a disappointment.
In the hotel only English guests, in the dining room ärgstens have listed.

It is in this hotel in the least 90% English, which we personally didn't bother us, since we both speak English well, the British were quiet, there were mainly families there.
The food for us was the " " SCHECHTESTE what we had eaten in a three-star hotel.
The same food every day, has no taste. When I brought it to our tour guide from its on site said, was very surprised, it would itself and the food Probeessen seih so varied. Of course, what can you say to! For me this was an absolute insolence!

On the whole I can confirm the two previous reviews. The staff were always very hard to keep the complex and all was left behind by the, mostly English, guests at the pool or in the restaurants to remove.
Our all-inclusive we did not completely exhausted " " , since we had rented a car cheap money and very nice excursions to other places and beaches made, so that the lunch mostly anymore. 00 for the two of us all inclusive, so we got what we paid for, I would not recommend this hotel the main reason being that there is no air con or fans, if you are on the gound floor you cannot leave the balcony door open, it was fairly uncomfortable trying to sleep due to it being to warm in the room, I would not like to be in them during the summer/hotter months although we were told that by the summer each room would have a fan and a hair drier, they have thier work cut out to complete this modification two months or so. - in March 10

The apartment was very clean and the maid was there every day apart from mondays and fridays, balcony was a sun trap and sometimes became to hot to stay out there and there was no air con but you could hire a fan but it is expensive you have to pay for the safe as well which i though was very cheeky.

v and we were all inclusive, maid cleaned the room five out of seven days, she even washed up our used cups, the bathroom had a walk in shower, they dont clean the rooms on fridays and tuesdays, All the staff we spoke to were friendly and helpfull, its quite a big complex and at times there can be a bit of a queue for drinks in the bars but the bar staff worked hard, At meal times you help yourself to drinks, there is always plenty of food and a big choice but not always very hot, and like most places a lot of the same things, there was no air con in our room and even in december it got hot in the bedroom, there are two pool areas and pools were cleaned every day while we were there and the small army of cleaners are everywhere, Its in a good location for shops bars and beach, and we had a great time and would recommend it for winter break

i would like to say first of all had a wonderful stay at the los zocos the reps/animation team made it i was considering changing before we went because of the bad reviews the hotel is 3star there were a few things but nothing to spoil my holiday very little cockroaches yes a lot of cats but they werent begging as the hotel fed them my room was lovely looked over the pool there was also a commpletely quiet side of the complex as well the weather was nice too a little breezy but was glad of it defiantley would go back in october but i dont know in high season it might change things the staff were friendly but reps were gr8 kids club was brill there was a few things i would say tho the pool was freezing but everywhere in lanzarote is like that even the hotels who say they climatise them i did go in but after a few pina coldas the card system was a bit of a pain for the all inclusive but u get use to it the food was nice but very repetitive the breakfast and lunh was fine but the evening meals were cold but i suppose a good choice even the food that was fresh out was cold knowone expalined to us about the evening meals being in aonther part recommend it but maybe not high season! - in October 10

Good points: Generally clean, nice pool area for all to enjoy, choice of food is adequate, good reps and entertainment (although it can start a little late for the younger kids) bus stop outside, lots of activites going on Not so good things: you can only get one drink at a time and the poolbar gets very busy, often que out the door, rooms looking a bit tired-furnishings etc probably had thier time.

not a bad hotel ,fisrt i would like thank FIRST CHOICE and HOTEL STAFF for their help as my wife had a small problem when we arirved on with the review the hotel is fine we never seen any cock roaches when were their we were all inclusive i must coment on the great food at night at the el boulevard, the breakfast was ok at the el miridor we had bad weather on the monday which was unlucky we would like to thank all the staff including GG and Shirley we would return in their future nice staff ,nice reception,great animation team unfortunetly we had a five hour delay for the glasgow flight that spoilt our holiday - in March 10
The animation team were great with the kids, but when we visited the animation team only worked with the kids for an hour in the morning and an hour in the afternoon, so it wasn't worth sending them.

Towards the end of our holiday we were being served half measures by quite arrogant staff, but if your face fits you will get served what you want when you want ;-) The Aquamarina club serves all inclusive drinks (including a variety of cocktails) until midnight, after then you have to pay. - in March 10

not a bad hotel ,fisrt i would like thank FIRST CHOICE and HOTEL STAFF for their help as my wife had a small problem when we arirved on with the review the hotel is fine we never seen any cock roaches when were their we were all inclusive i must coment on the great food at night at the el boulevard, the breakfast was ok at the el miridor we had bad weather on the monday which was unlucky we would like to thank all the staff including GG and Shirley we would return in their future nice staff ,nice reception,great animation team unfortunetly we had a five hour delay for the glasgow flight that spoilt our holiday - in May 10

the pools were great fun for the kids,never to overcrowded, there was the busy/activity pool on one side of the complex and a quiet pool of equal size on the other side.

having read reviews before we went i have to say i don't know why would you have a complaint ,everything was great from our room which was big and cleaned 5 out of 7 days,pools were lovely water was cold but once you were in it was fine,food was fine good choice i don't think you would do it for a 2nd week though,a few cockcroaches not as many as i was expecting after reading some reviews here, but where ever you go to in a sun holiday you'll get these ,,i would say to anyone with a young family this is ideal. - in August 10

Lets get this straight, the pool was so very cold, it was colder than Jack and Roses ending in Titanic, the woman on the front desk was very scary and threatened to evict us after half an hour of being in the place, and yes the food was quite samey but to be honest none of this mattered. - in February 11

we have just returned from los zocos our 2 children are 8 and 3 the area is lovely few shops nice beach fab weather it was about 32 degrees now for the hotel all the staff are lovely and very helpful and not at all rude my 3 year old loved the kids clubs especially dizzy dan and diva danni the pools are cold at first but quickly warm up yes there are tiles missing but nothing thats going to cause harn the sunbeds weren't chained up but you did have to get your sunbed early as otherwise you didn't get a good spot the food was ok not very hot and yes it was the same food every day apart from maybe 1 dish which was new yes there are cats around the hotel but they don't bother and are very friendly we had a new room was was ok not brilliantly clean and there was only a ceiling fan in the bedroom so we had to sleep with the patio door open as our children slept in the bedroom as it was cooler for them yes there were cockroaches but only saw 1 live one all the rest were dead but were quickly cleaned away the reps are brilliant and really tryed their best for the evening entertainment but they had limited supplies the hotels is in desperate need of a refurb and was told things are changing there next year so fingers crossed for the better word of warning there are alot of germans at this hotel and they are very rude to fellow holiday makers aswell as hotel staff. - in August 10

we arrived on 1st aug and was after checking in was given our room card/key,we we're in the second block on the ground floor,apartment was clean but very hot so not a good nights sleep,in fact we didnt sleep well all holiday as no air-con and was wary of leaving windows open at night because of cochroaches,the beds were not very comfy and pillows were hard,but great apartment,food is a bit repetitive but bearing in mind its a big resort so i suppose they have to cater for all,staff freindly espeically the first choice reps who did an amazing job of keeping our kids entertained in the kids clubs,pools are cold i went in once but too cold for my liking,and if you want a sunbed then you have to wait until 10am when they are unlocked. - in March 10

the pool area is huge and los zocos has two of these areas so there was plenty of room for everyone, the pools were a bit cold and the sunbeds werent the best design ive seen, they were permanently in one position which was annoying if you want to sit up and read and if you tried to sit up you tend to pinch the skin on your palms/hands because of the way they were made,again not los zocos fault but they would do well to ditch these and get more conventional adjustable ones.

Now the pool, i read a few reviews that said the pool was freezing, they were not wrong, it is not just freezing it is like getting into a bath of ice, i have no idea why the hotel has it like so, and why they have not responded to so many complaints, but the pool so sparce, you could jump in but then you HAD to get out quick or you may have a heart attack, this is one thing that was unnacceptable, the kids were reluctant to go in the pool and were freexing for ages after when they did ! - in October 10
i would like to say first of all had a wonderful stay at the los zocos the reps/animation team made it i was considering changing before we went because of the bad reviews the hotel is 3star there were a few things but nothing to spoil my holiday very little cockroaches yes a lot of cats but they werent begging as the hotel fed them my room was lovely looked over the pool there was also a commpletely quiet side of the complex as well the weather was nice too a little breezy but was glad of it defiantley would go back in october but i dont know in high season it might change things the staff were friendly but reps were gr8 kids club was brill there was a few things i would say tho the pool was freezing but everywhere in lanzarote is like that even the hotels who say they climatise them i did go in but after a few pina coldas the card system was a bit of a pain for the all inclusive but u get use to it the food was nice but very repetitive the breakfast and lunh was fine but the evening meals were cold but i suppose a good choice even the food that was fresh out was cold knowone expalined to us about the evening meals being in aonther part recommend it but maybe not high season! - in May 10
