We stayed overnight at the seminar hotel, situated in a residential area, outside of the city center and easy to get to by car. To the beautiful city of Ljubljana taxi ride will get you around 5 euro or on foot in about 40 minutes. Bus service is well, which we didn't use, since the taxis are cheap. The room (3 beds) was really big, well eringerichtet, with flat screen TV, minibar, etc. Only the view of a construction site was not great, but it wasn't important.
