6 hotel reviews for Mercure Hotel Groningen Martiniplaza
Very nice staff, very small rooms and unfortunately noise in the room of the highway. It's located about 3 -4 kilometers away from the city center. Free bikes can be rented from the hotel, however, these fast. Otherwise you only by car or walk from the center. I didn't see any train or bus. Read more

... Mercure Hotel Groningen Martiniplaza from 13-15 Februar 2010. Since March 2009 it has been completely renovated and makes a prefect impression. The hotel has 8 floors and 157 rooms, a large entrance hall, a rather large restaurant and a cosy bar, all in very good condition. It is situated near the A7 motorway, about 2 km from the pleasant city centre and about three bus stops from the Central Train Station (less than 10 min). A taxi drive is 10 euro. The hotel’s neighbourhood is dull and uninspiring.

A peaceful surroundings with very good possibility arriving by car and the bikes. We had no problems one of the pink (: D) wheels (that good for environment protection! ). A lamp was broken, which was however very quick to fix it. Otherwise it was always very clean and the breakfast buffet was very extensive. Whoever in bad weather without car staying rather bad luck, otherwise very good hotel for the price! Read more

Central location on the ring. The walk into town about 25 -30 minutes - bicycle for one day after Hotelangabe possible. Rooms are big enough, with carpeted floors. Windows in the main building of the hotel don't open - fresh air only air conditioning. Small noise during heavy traffic on the highway. Buffet breakfast was good, but during heavy disturbance somewhat plain and inadequate. Service good in all areas. Free parking was available from the hotel. Read more
