Almost frustrating was the reception in the hotel. Despite vouchers and found none of the 3 Bookings employees a solution and the Coputer. You crack as wild some Pages from the vouchers but the room left long wait and we were genuinely served. Actually pity, because the hotel itself is OK. The hotel made a relatively new, modern impression. Everything very clean and well maintained. It's location is a bit out of Cairns, you can reach the center about 20-25 minutes walk to. It is but also a free shuttle service offered.
At the rooms there was nothing to complain about. Our room was facing the sea and therefore very quiet. The furnishing was clean and very good condition.

Pleasant hotel was directly at the harbor side Mercure Cairns harborside is the hotel, it is not in the center cairns is located, but still very well situated, that everything is within walking distance. The hotel is modern, beautiful and clean. The room selection is on the basis of location a room with ocean view recommended. On the balcony in the evenings unwind from a busy day relaxing. The room are modern and big, it is nothing to complain about. The pool was clean and the size was in order, pool chairs were available. Express check-in friendly staff, great is the hourly shuttle service (minibus) in the center.
From 09:00-10:00 P. M. daily and g'ratis for hotel guests!
Course we shopping excursions greet barrier reef in the center (all available).
But unfortunately also several drunken aborginales evenings in the city...
