We were with a group of five beginning October 2011 for three nights in the Mercure Hotel Plaza Essen building. The single room on the fifth floor were ideal equipped and very comfortable. Absolutely great was the breakfast, very pleasant friendliness of the staff and staff. As we eat and the surrounding area have explored by bike, the hotel was for us very Central. We didn't use the three days, in order to explore food. With the visit of the Zeche Zollverein to city tour, visit the Villa Hügel, folkwang-Museum and cycling around the baldeneysee us is that in the short time it worked well. Therefore, the hotel was perfectly suitable. The rooms facing the courtyard was very quiet and well furnished. It is ten minutes to the center.
