Why is it that a lot of hotel rooms look the same and do not really invite one to linger and relax?!
As an actress I have travelled a lot and in my 4 guest rooms ? all within a typical and elegant historical Berlin appartment house, close to the famous KaDeWe ? I would like to offer you everything I missed myself in so many hotels and guesthouses throughout the world.
Without a long check-in procedure you will be welcomed by me personally at mittendrin with a welcome drink and upon request of course also with recommendations regarding restaurants, events and sight-seeing.
The appeal of mittendrin are its 4 individually appointed guestrooms, each with stucco, parquet flooring, heigh ceilings, warm colours, stylish furniture and changing art exhibits. The art exhibits by the artist Petra Pawlofsky provide mittendrin and its rooms an additional special flair. All paintings can be purchased. Some information about the artist athttp://pawlo.wordpress.com. Together with high quality matresses, fresh flowers, selected CDs, coffee-table books and warm candle light all rooms invite you to feel comfortable and relax after a hard day of work, an exhausting congress or a demanding sight-seeing tour.
In the morning a sumptuously laid breakfast table with mere fresh and delicious products will be prepared for you in the 'Berliner Zimmer'. Without queuing at a buffet you can sit back and enjoy the service of your host together with the other guests as long as you like. Breakfast in bed or for two in your room? Your host will be more than happy to serve you here too. Of course without extra charges!
Either for couples, singles or business travelers, mittendrin is offering for all its guests something very special.
Would you like to explore exhibitions, museums, theaters, the opera or concerts? In just a few minutes walk or a ride with the public transport you can reach the Gedächtniskirche, Berlin Zoo, Brandenburger Gate, Potsdamer Platz, Bode Museum, Hackische Höfe, Alexanderplatz, the elegant Friedrichstrasse and a lot of other major spots in German's capital.

A very nice and cosy place. You don't feel that you are in a hotel but rather in the home of a friend. There are four rooms and three batrooms in the apartment. The rooms are beautifully decorated and very clean. Everything is tip top. The breakfast is very nice and eaten at a communal table.

Mrs K. is a huge treasure: warm, friendly, cheerful contagious. Altogether a very good host. We awoke in Berlin! The apartment was literally right in the middle of everything, bus, underground and S-Bahn are easily to reach. Opportunities for shopping it around the house. The letting is ideally located on a side street between memorial church and the kadewe. The nearest metro stop is just two minutes walk away. To train you need only seven minutes on foot. Therefore, you can easily reach all the sights of Berlin fast and comfortable. Despite the ideal location és is in the midst of very quiet.
