a very nice, great renovated hotel, but most of the rooms in need of renovation. Still high quality food, but no choice option. Very nice and helpful staff. However, we would have expected the boss, that all guests are treated equally, irrespective of how old you are or how much they are consuming! Read more

Extraordinary hotel: location in wonderful area with lots of excursion and hiking possibilities. Staff well trained, friendly and helpful-good service in all areas.-our room ('standard' we had) a bit getting old, but clean. At the 3-star hotel you are being spoilt. Outstanding are the breakfast buffet, and especially the service. Absolutely top notch are the 4 - 5 - course menus in the evening. They are worth at least 4-5 stars. The staff are friendly and competent. I can recommend it any time!! Read more

We can recommend nature & hiking hotel Rainer to everyone who values a nice ambience (book a room in the new building) and delicious food. Not even 5 minutes to Sterzing and about 10 to the ski area of Ratschings. Behind the hotel there is the hotel's own toboggan run, the sledges can be borrowed for free at the hotel! A small tip for those in love: book the offer "Zeit zu Zweit", amongst other things, the pool and jacuzzi with prosecco are reserved for you on one night... very romantic! Read more
