During the day we would either stay at one of the 3 pools where there were plenty of sunbeds and is also very quiet and relaxing (Novotel Beach has only 1 pool which loud music is played all day but still seemed a nice hotel) or we would pop across to the private beach. - in October 09
There was obviously a lot going on with the entertainment team trawling the beach for people to join in various activities - belly-dancing anyone? The loud music, from the pool and neighbouring hotels did get a bit incessant at times, though it was probably quieter around the pools at the Palm side.

Don't bother taking beach towels with you, as the hotel will supply you with clean towels each day on the beach, as long as you return them at the end of the day.

Brilliant guy who will do everything for you as far as serving you is concerned and he do not want any tips during the stay until you leave in which we gave him £10 for the excellent service he had given. - in May 10
They will run around and give you an excellent service providing you with ice buckets for your drinks and constantly make sure you have everything you need.

That said, the beach was simply amazing and well worth every penny - the snorkelling is fantastic, like nothing I'd ever seen before - but be warned, the sand is too hot to walk on during the day and you need footwear.

The location is great, you can see over a hundred varieties of fish in one meter of water right outside the hotel, its a short walk to lively night life but really quiet around the hotel, 10 mins from the airport and the breakfast is yummy. - in October 09

But however there is a guard who works 24/7 slows the traffic down so everyone can cross the road safely, once across the road you need to walk right through the Novotel Beach to get to the prom, if you turn right and walk along the prom you will see lots of lovely restaurants which are good if you would like a quiet evening.
