Great location, if you like we rather like quiet. Hotel was clean, staff was very nice and helpful. The Cala masala in ten minutes footpath distance has a great beach (also suitable for children, shallow water front), the beach wasn't't crowded and clean. It is if you on the water looks on the right hand side two cafes: in the back of the coffee is cheaper (also the food) for the same quality and thief eenter opening is super friendly and (!) much faster ☺ Food is very varied and variable. We were positively surprised about the location, the access to the traffic and the town itself. In Porto Colom can be good for lunch and dinner. In the hotel the buffet was very varied and diverse. One comment in one of the reviews was that the walls are paper thin, we would say quite the reverse we never heard the slightest noise from next door or above despite the hotel being fully booked and there were alot of children on our floor too. - in June 10

For those wanting a sandy beach and good swimming, Cala Marsal is any easy 10 min walk from the hotel and there is some night life there, but this closeby resort looked a little run down and soulless to us and the signs of a recession are very clear, unfortunately.
