Completely refurbished in 2004, the hotel enjoys a panoramic, strategic position, facing the Costa Smeralda and bordering with the National Marine Park of the La Maddalena Archipelago.
An ideal destination for nature lovers, who enjoy both horseback excursions and nature walks. The fascinating landscape is marked by coves and headlands, the shades of blue and green of the sea and of Gallura’s hills, and by the wind-sculpted rocks, such as unique, world famous “Roccia dell’Orso” just a few hundred metres from the Hotel.

Sited in the fascinating Capo D’Orso locality, 3 km from Palau and 38 km north of Olbia, on a hillside sloping down to the sea, immersed in Mediterranean scrub teeming with small wildlife, including tortoises, red grouse, turledoves, and hares, whence the name of the resort.

Five days were here. Huge Area. Regular 'bus'. Two restaurants in the area. Very friendly staff. Hotel is a bit out of the way. In my opinion, therefore, it is recommendable with a car. Beautiful beaches and the city are only with this to reach. Read more

Since we had two weeks before the end of season as the leisure facilities were very limited, in the second restaurant we could not once. However, the stay was very pleasant, service and staff were excellent and happy. The doors to the rooms were a bit noisy. The beach is just fine. We had sea view, but no sunset, the area behind the hotel down. In September was in the hotel and in the surrounding area wasn't't very busy, if you want to spend a peaceful vacation without crowd can go barefoot in this time of year. Read more

Tip: Beverages to the meals too expensively. The wines e.g. one can procure oneself in the supermarket in Palau at favourable prices. There are better beaches in the environment as the hotel beach (Cannigione, and/or on the way there) a rented car is actually obligation, since the hotel plant is somewhat remote. Then absolutely a trip after San Teodoro (beach La Cinta! ) and Budoni (v. Pinienwald surround beach) make and the island La Madalena and Caprera visit! Read more

The plant is near the coast and extends over a large area. The individual Bungalows lie quite lonely and add themselves beautifully into the slope. The extensiveness of the plant is compensated by the regular, free Hotelshuttel service (electric road vehicle, thus no exhaust gases and noise). We felt comfortable very well and were absolutely satisfied. The hotel is very spacious, therefore also sometimes, depending on the location, other routes to the restaurant or on the beach. However there were constantly in use and during electrical without long waiting time is so comfortable. To explore the surrounding countryside is however a rental car needed... Hotel is a bit out of the way, public bus connection is not noticeable.
