The hotel in general
The Park Hotel consists of the historic landmark "Villa Sendig," the "Königsvilla" and the new "Residenz Elbblick". In addition to the 73 rooms there is a large winter garden restaurant with a terrace overlooking the Elbe, a sauna area with 2 saunas and whirlpool, a spa are – our “Wohlfühl-Vitallounge”, several meeting rooms and an historic hall to celebrate and dance.
Hotel location
The buildings of the Parkhotel are situated in an own park area - which has a size of 2-acres – next to the Elbe promenade. The rock formations of the Elbe Sandstone Mountains begin directly near the hotel. The cities of Dresden and Prague are each only 1 hour away.
Service at the hotel
We are happy to provide you with one of our bikes for a cycling tour Elbe bike pathway.
For your trips we will be happy to give you some information, route descriptions and maps, or we are looking forward to organize a tour guide for you. Relaxation offers our lawn in our garden.
For Dancers, we are offering regular dance evenings and workshops with renowned instructors.
Of course, on request we reserve tickets for the Felsenbühne Rathen.
Gastronomy in the hotel
Even for breakfast you can enjoy the view of the river Elbe on our terrace. Our buffet offers a large selection of breakfast cereals. If you are missing something, we are happy to fulfill your special requests.
In our winter garden restaurant "Toscana", we offer mainly Mediterranean dishes as well as regional specialties.
In our 3-course half board you can choose either appetizer or soup and from three entrees. Of course it is possible to dine à la carte.
Sports, entertainment and pool in the hotel
Directly near the hotel a variety of outdoor sports are offered: hiking, biking, climbing and boating.
The neighboring Toskana Therme offers relaxation with a liquid sound pool and an indoor and outdoor pool.
The sauna area invites you to relax in a Finish sauna, a steam bath or a whirlpool.
In the hall we offer regular dances events.

The light wood furnishings characterize the comfortable atmosphere of our rooms. The majority has a large balcony. Of course, all rooms have shower or bath, toilet, hairdryer, TV, minibar and telephone.
Our rooms are non-smoking rooms, but in some ones smoking is allowed on the balcony.

If again Bad Schandau then again in this hotel. Check-in and be comfortable! I can only recommend the menu the evening with book! Activity my wife and I not eaten! Again, thanks for the wonderful table decoration for our silver anniversary!

We were very pleased with the hotel. The service staff was very attentive (service), competent and friendly. Great breakfast, very nice bright and tastefully designed breakfast room or guest room. Very nice, old dance hall. The 'DJ' Madam, the musical organization of dance in the evening we ate, should consider, where appropriate, their 'play list' and 'merry/friendly' be. The Parkhotel is a well-kept silent hotel and offers excellent leisure opportunities in the surrounding area. Also the traffic connections is good. Many destinations can be reached by public transport. The restaurant is very good, the sauna, however, was rather mediocre. The service was always friendly, very good.
