As already mentioned in the title, the hotel could not be better located, great price/performance ratio. In a fourth round guest in the middle of the old town of Bern. The rooms are appropriately equipped, there is no place to spend, what you need in a city hotel. We had even our dog with us and also has a place found, in order to sleep. The rooms and bathroom seemed to have been renovated, a small shortcoming was maybe the floor, you could hear the crunch, but somehow this made the atmosphere of an 'old' building. We chose the Martha house, because it is walking distance from the train station in a quarter of an hour to reach and offers a reasonable price. The check-in process was superb. We booked eight months before arrival.
It lived up to our expectations. The flat screen tv in the room but we didn't use it, not even kettle cuisine and bicycles. (Very slow) but the free travel PC us for small Internet Research and mails good services.
Minor drawbacks: the balcony was not 'style' and furniture from the room didn't outside transport. The mattresses ... Read more
