... Prince Consort have a 'no refunds' policy. Until I pushed them. The explanation of the noise all night long was 'well you'd expect that staying somewhere above a pub'. i pushed harder, and got a refund for the two unused nights.
However, our three night internet booking was a special price - when we were refunded the two nights, the single night we stayed was charged at the full rate, $35 more than what we paid. In the end, we took this $35 hit to simply get out and go somewhere else.

Through the poor location, you do get a bad impression of Brisbane. It is a bit out of the way of the center in a not so nice area. After exploring Brisbane closer was a bad impression left.; ) Under the hostel is a pub, which the sound of music you but not even on the 1 . Floor hear. The rooms are very large. We stayed in a 8 -room, but you would have a 12 or 14 Capsule room make it. The showers are unfortunately very cramped and not so clean, but for a few days acceptable.
