We were with break twice in the pousada 'Rio Negro'. This hostel has only 5 rooms,
But thus it very personal and family-friendly. The director and her son speak good English or
German, all the rooms are clean and in good condition. However only 4 to inner courtyard located.
The staff are always very helpful and has good contacts with German speaking Guidebooks in Manaus and
Provides tours by boat or car the entire Amazon.
A fine building (Rio Negro Palace ) opposite with wonderful park and museum to

A very simple guesthouse (pousada) in the middle of the city of Manaus directly at one the largest main streets. The rooms are very simple but clean and in a quiet location. The German speaking owner very friendly and helpful. The breakfast is not large but the table nicely set up. If you don't large 'Tourist bunker' is for 1-2 nights at a reasonable price well cared for. Read more
