One could tell one was dealing with a hotel run by the owner. The size of the hotel area was pleasant (not a mountain of beds + not an extensive, divided pool/garden area), very clean, very well-kept, constant maintenance, a good, rich breakfast and dinner buffet (something for every taste), a large terrace in the shade with seaview (so that one always got a seat to eat outdoors), a mixture of guests (starting in their twenties to end 70 + small children; German, Swiss, British, Russian). Beautiful, large and friendly, the outdoor area had been beautifully designed and there were also many shady spots. Clean and friendly service. A great and spacious bathroom. In general, the service was ok. However, it often seemed that one had to wait unnecessarily at the spots where towels were handed out in the mornings. The staff was always friendly.
