Dated four star hotel, after just three star category. The leisure activity options were great. The first beach is about 15 minutes on a hill easy to reach, as long as you are reasonably good on your feet. The service was friendly, the food was okay, but see above as the overall condition of the hotel only deserved three stars. most days it was late afternoon before the room was done and not once did the cleaner sweep the floor, or open the sliding doors to the balcony, the white wash paint that was used to paint the walls on the balcony was getting a bit of a hammering with the wind and this was evident because it was all over the floor on the balcony, and it was like this all week, even on calm days when no wind was there, therefore the balcony was never cleaned, the pools were not cleaned either, only the leaves and bits of paper etc were lifted from the edges, when you get in you find all sorts of gravel and dirt at the bottom which hurt when you stood on it, in my case I found they were serving FAKE COINTREAU in the bar, (this is my tipple of choice) i was disappointed with that, staff need lessons on how to smile, and how to interact with guests, the hotel is situated too far from the main resort and the shuttle bus which is provided free to take guests to the shopping center left us too far from the shops, at least a 15 min walk.
