Satao Camp

This was the 4 camp on our Flugsafari. The camp itself was not bad, in other words we had a nice view on the waterhole (Elephants, monkeys... The whole day). We had a tent-suite with a terrace and a large bathroom. The Reisverschluss from the tent was however broken and the castle we only on the requests received. The food area as well as a beautiful view. The food was however really bad, we need no Nobelessen but lapische fries and zusammengematschtes vegetables is not very tasty. A fantastic camp that really does have it all and it is right in the middle of the steppe. The tents are very large and spacious and the bathroom was excellent. It was in the evening always a bag with warm water to the shower in the bathroom and you had to wash with cold water. We were very impressed and can say absolutely nothing negative about the camp. Very nice camp with very friendly staff, everything was clean and nice rustic (reminiscent of the flaking stones)! Us it was not boring, there was always something to see and hear (even at night). Read more

Since we are working on our Safari 2.5 had booked a holiday at the seaside, was our first night here in the camp. I was very pleasantly surprised with the great tent room, total original, clean and very functional installed. Here I could also a couple of days longer. Great food, very nice staff. Waterhole at the camp, therefore, elephant, hippopotamus, monkeys, antelopes, giraffes, zebras from about 50 meters proximity to watch. A three star camp but 3.5 star rating. Food was very good, large selection at the buffet and for lunch in a restaurant with a garden overlooking the water hole. Tents and bathroom was a bit rustic but in good condition. Staff friendly and helpful. Read more
